Project Title:   Emergency Water & Sanitation Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Project

Project Objective:

 

To ensure that poor women, men, girls and boys in the most flood affected communities have access to essential WASH services.

 

Mobilization to improve drinking water supplies, sanitation facilities and hygiene in the flood affected areas of DI Khan district, KPK province.
     
Project Areas:   Dera Ismail Khan – KPK
     
Project Achievements:  

13200 Families 92400 women, men and children (single count) have improved access to, and fully utilize sufficient quantity of safe drinking water as a result of project interventions.
7000 families with 49,000 women, men and children (single count) have improved access to, and fully utilise culturally appropriate sanitation facilities due to sanitation interventions.
16000 families with 112000  women, men and children (single count) are enabled to practice safer hygiene in a dignified and culturally sensitive manner.
